Gameserver Support Technician (Night Shift)

PrimusNetworks are a newly emerged, UK Based Gameserver Provider. Specialising in a variety of games and services we aim to make customer service, ease-of-use and quality of service our ultimate focus. We're a fast growing company, and are ready to accept new additions to our staff team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their work, dedicated to their work and has a keen sense of enthusiasm about making a difference in the game server hosting industry.

  • Provide hands-on technical support to customers, resolving any issues that they may encounter, for them.

What happens after I purchase my server?

After purchase we will provide you with an E-Mail. This will contain your Control Panel login details and any other information you may need. You can navigate to your client area to login to your control panel, or use the link on our website. We advise waiting around 5 minutes to ensure your server is provisioned properly before making any changes, or being worried if you cannot access your control panel.

Can I upload my own files?

Of course! What is a server without customisation? You'll probably need to upload your own files and work to your server, so we provide full FTP Access. Certain file types such as DLL files may sometimes be restricted for security reasons. However with a simple support ticket, our team will be happy to install that anywhere for you.

What are the specifications for your servers?

Our servers specs do change, and can vary depending on location. Typically we use Intel Xeon E5 CPU's, 64GB - 512GB RAM, Multiple SSD Drives, Over 2TB of HDD Space, Guaranteed 500Mbps bandwidth. We have special spec nodes for ARMA servers due to their demand for high clock speed CPU's. The specs are as follows: Intel i7 4790k 4.4GHz CPU, 32GB RAM, 2 x 480GB SSD's, 1 x 2TB HDD.

Do you offer refunds?

If you're not happy with your service, you are struggling financially, have changed your mind about the service or for whatever reason you require a refund we are happy to provide that. However for our own stability and reassurance, we do have some conditions that must be met. If you make a complaint about the service, our staff will do everything to compensate for your problem. If you would still like a refund, and our staff agree a mistake has been made we are more than happy to issue an honest refund.

  • You service must be under 48 hours old.
  • Refunds cannot be issued on labour tasks (Initial Development .etc).
  • Refunds wont be issued if you have breached our terms.

Are your servers online 24/7?

All of our services run around the clock, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Your service has an uptime of 99.99% and it is extraordinarily unlikely that you will experience downtime. Rare maintenance on our nodes takes place in times when servers are being used the least amount - This is typically in the early hours of the morning.

Are there any contracts?

Absolutely not. By purchasing with us, all you agree to is our Terms and Conditions. You pay for your service on a monthly basis and we give you the freedom to cancel at any time.

What happens if I don't pay on time?

After 1 day of not paying, your service will be suspended and will no longer be usable. After 5 days of not paying, your server will be terminated and all of your server files will likely be lost.

I can't afford to pay at the moment, but can I keep my files for later?

If you believe you wont be able to pay for a few upcoming months, but would like to retain your files for a later date, please contact a member of our team. We undertstand your problem and we would be happy to help my archiving your server files for future use.

If that is empty, but you still feel you have something that could be valuable to the Primus team, we encourage you to contact support. What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept PayPal, and Debit Card payments. We are actively working to introduce other payment methods such as BitCoin. No credit/debit card information is stored on our servers.
